Can i Run 255/40/19 all around?

Currently I am running 245/40/19 dropped (slight tuck in rear) without an issue. I am sitting at et38 all around.

Do you think that I am safe with 255?
Visually it looks like there's room but I wanted your opinion,

thanx

you should be fine with even 275s in the rear,

As for the fronts, when I first got my rims they had 255/35 on all four rims. Which was fine but I ended up scrapping the bottom of my car when I go in and out of my driveway.

So I changed the fronts to 245/40 I believe and 255/35 in the rear and it's perfect for me.

I've got 19x9" Yokohama Advans ET25 all around.

At first I ran 275/35 in the rear, and they didn't rub at all, but they did stick out more than I wanted.

Recently I changed these to 255/35 and it's perfect for me, especially the ride and handling characteristics, much better than with 275s.

Personally I don't see why you'd have ANY rubbing issues.

I'm not sure how different my drop is from yours, but i'm running 255/40/19 on +35 wheels all around. I have had no issues with rubbing or anything weird with this set-up.

just add a little more camber, thats all.

255/35 tire will be a good size

arent you on BC's? if so, just raise your ride.

with a wider wheel, you can get a stretch that allows for a better fitment.

i already run a 40 sidewall, i have an x, so 255/40 is a must.

soundmike, do you have a closeup of your tires? also, what wheel width do you have?

They're 19x8.5 (+35) all around. These are all i have at the moment, but if you'll let me know which angle you want the shot of, i'll do it when i get home.

edit: When i had the fronts lower -- pretty much tucked-in -- at maximum compression, combined with a hard turn, i did hear some rubbing but could not verify where it was coming from. At the current height, i've had no issues whatsoever.
