This is great info! I was thinking the only way to do it was the Consult III crap or the Bartech 400, both too expensive unless you do it for a living. The Quickset manual shows Nissans up to 2008 as an example in the "how to" section. That is some additional evidence that it does indeed support our cars. I am happy now.

I will definitely check the free DIY method on myG37.com
How I read the previous post was that a guy, who may be working of old information and probably hasn't tried it himself, told him that it wouldn't work. A few years back, the only thing that could do it was the Consult III. The manual, an example screen shot of the software, the ATEQ website and a first hand account at my350z.com says that it will do what it claims to do. http://my350z.com/forum/wheels-and-t...-own-tpms.html
However, I realize that it is not a 100% solution in that it doesn't do everything needed if you were starting from scratch. It will not "activate" or read the pressure monitor code in the wheel. I am not sure what "activation" is and if it is required, Ive just seen it mentioned. The owner has to grab the code from the monitor before the tire is mounted or use another tool...I think.

Another TireRack employee is saying that it does work on my G37.com
http://myg37.com/forums/wheels-and-t...eset-tool.html
I think it at least deserves further investigation. Both before buying one and before dismissing it.

My dealer said my G would not "recognize" 2 set of TPMS sensors (only 1 at time)
they had to be programmed each time I put them on the car.
As I have a set of wheels for summer and another set for winter this is very annoying, I thoughmy G could "remember" at least two set of TPMS sensors...
Does they lied to me?
