Vossen cv1 ****** NIGHTMARE******
so i got the cv1 matte black 20x9 front 32 offset and 20x10.5 rear 42 offset
and this car is getting lowered today and tomorrow with all the goodies full coilovers (BC) kinetix camber caster rods, A arms up front and rear toe arms, you name it. so i put on the brand new vossens with 245/35/20 up front and 285/30/20 rear and wow it looks so bad!!! and i mean terrible, wheel is sticking out like crazy in the rear. i dont know how this wheel is gonna look flush. im contemplating getting a whole new set of wheels. i dont think these are for me. i would have stretched the tire in the rear with a 255 or 275 but i cant cause its awd so now im really upset!
check out the pics!!!! btw there up for sale in the classifieds if anyone is interested.

Dont worry about it,
Once u lower the car, with slight neg camber, it'll be tucking and looking sick.
My friend on his 2nd gen ran 10.5 +45offset with 285/30/20 tires in the back, and looked perfect. And he was only dropped on springs.

Nothing will happen, if ur running perfect or close to perfect dimensions.
Ive been running staggered for 3yrs... on my 9th set of staggered wheels, and 0 problems.
Knowledge > myth.

Dont worry. Once you get it slammed, you can dial in the proper camber so that you are sitting flush. I will look good.

i hope so im going to check the wheels tomorrow to make sure its the proper offset i dont think its a 42 offset , feel like i got the wrong wheel. i just want it to sit nice and ride awesome. i spent so much money on this venture. idk if anyone else is having this problem, vossen is saying that it has been done on this car tons of times. but i cant find anyone who did this wheel set up so dont know how true that is

Like everyone else has said, don't worry man. Once you drop it and dial in the camber the wheels won't stick out at all.

if this problem doesnt get resolved i will sell the wheels, and yes im going turbo through api.... im going to be doing a prototype build conservative boost. but again thats all in the works. so yes i will sell the wheels if i cant get this to work for me the way i want it. and the buyer will be getting a slamming deal. and the wheels fit there just not sitting the way i want them so that also needs to be clarified.
sorry about the mis post hit the wrong category, dont know how to move it though

I think what you've done by jumping the gun and deciding you don't like them before you've even done anything else is foolish. I've done it before too, yet everything worked out. Wait until you've got the car aligned and lowered, then decide.
