Like AesonVirus said, change the pads.

I had my front brakes changed under warranty due to warping. Shortly after that we had the major rain storms here in NJ, March 2010 (or so) and after that my front brakes would intermittently produce a grinding noise especially when cold as I almost came to a stop. I did go through the heavy rain and maybe 2-3 puddles (slowly) which were 3 inches deep.

The tech who worked on the car told me that if the pads were hot and the cold water splashed onto the pads (OEM) the thermal shock could cause a change in the pad material characteristics, resulting in this issue. So they changed the pads again and probably cut the rotors again. All sounds went away.

I am going to tell them to check everything..pads..rotors (again!) bearings, tie rods ect..i feel it in wheel and brake when going normal speeds and get wheel vibration at 75 but i think thats due to tires being out of balance or maybe it could be related to the issues i am having in the front...who knows it could be the back

Let us know how it turns out. . . I'm having the same issues. . . I really sucks because I love my car . .. and actually the brakes work great when they're not vibrating . . . SH*& I might even drop some cash on a new set of race calipers if I knew it'd fix the problem

Well i found my issue....It was the tires!

I was also getting steering wheel vibration at 75+ with lots of tire noise.
they are un even tread although they look brand new. Its causing the noise and the slight vibrations in the pedals and steering wheel. I cant believe i didn't think about this before

They balanced the tires and rotated them for me and now the brakes are vibrating differently although still vibrating..the uneven tread on the tires is going through my whole front end.

20-30 mph with when the wheel has the most vibrations. as well as the brake pedal...just going to have to live with it until i get new tires (which wont be for a while) or the tread evens out over time

Have you tried rebedding your pads? Uneven pad deposits are commonly mistaken for warped rotors. This happens when the heat capabilities of the pads are exceeded.

It's probably better to get everything fixed now than to wait. If you're still getting the vibration while driving (not braking) all those forces are putting a strain on anything connected to the front wheels and may (stressing the word "may") cause premature wear. My 2 cents.

I see what you are saying but i would most likely have to wait until summer as with a car payment now..i cant afford some nice new tires. These tires have so much tread on them..i would hate to just toss them. They rotated them so i am going to see if when i put a few hundred more miles on it it will get better. I would love to get new tires..but 4 tires at 110 a piece plus tax and to get them put on..not in the cards right now...

The only vibration i get while drive is like steering wheel vibration at 80+MPH and 25-35MPH..other than that its just the brake pedal so i am going to wait a few to replace the tires. I plan on getting new higher quality rotors and pads in the spring

These tires now are soo dam loud at low speeds from 25-40 and 70-80 mph
