Exclamation 20" Set-Up ! Help me out !

I've been firm on a set of 19's but I was looking at pictures the other day and actually found a nice set of 20's that I love.

I need help with wheel offset and tire specs:

2007 Infiniti G35 Sport 6mt
Eibach Pro-Kit

Front: 20x8.5 +40 Offset
Front Tires: 245/35/20

Rear: 20x10.5 +46 Offset
Rear Tires: 275/30/20

These are the exact specs on the wheels that they have in stock but I can play with tire sizes...

How does this sound? Will my car sit flush or will I need spacers?

I initially wanted 19's but these are nice and aren't heavy. I don't want to spill the beans yet, so don't ask! ...

Any info would be appreciated!

Thanks

Assuming you have a sedan....

I would say the fronts need 20mm spacers and the rears could use 5mm spacers to sit flush.

This is what I would do.

You will definitely need spacers up front and also in the rear to fit anything close to flush. IMO these offsets are pretty damn weak even for a sedan.

I'm passing on them and going to look for a set of 19's... Spoke to a few friends and sat in someones car with 20's.. I'll pass on them...

Not going with anything above 19"s...

I'm a person that likes to Look Good and FEEL Good..

Unfortunately, 20's have the looks but not the FEEL.. haha

Basically, with 20's you are LOSING in the Performance & Handling Department...

Technically 17's & 18's are the Best, Performance Wise...

IMHO, 19's give you the best LOOK without sacrificing too much...

Where's my commission? Lol..

Yeah, 20s = harsh ride, poor handling, poor acceleration, more expensive, etc... I'm not going to lie.. they do look good!

19s FTW..

What wheels are you considering?

My 20's weigh a lot less than stock wheels, and most of the wheels you guys are talking about. They actually weigh less than the 19" Volk's I was running before... Performance wise, it all depends on the wheel. True, all things being equal, 19's will perform better. But, a blanket statement that all 19's will perform better than 20's is 100% false. There is a small sacrifice in ride comfort, but my advise is don't lower you car if you are concerned about ride quality (especially with Eibach's...).

Also, tires are cheaper, and there is a much better selection in most sizes. 20's also look better. Just my opinion, but I have had 18's, 19's and 20's.....
