can you also ask BC if it is possible to retain stock height at the highest settings of their coils (maybe with 255 springs)

Not possible-they lower your car by at least some amount (not entirely sure how much because I didn't measure before putting them on). I'd guess min is just less than an inch lower but aside from that not sure. It depends on how close/over you want to get to the MAX height recommendations listed in the directions (i.e. how much thread you need threaded into the lower parts of the shocks for safety/rigidity). The G35X has a higher ride height than non-AWD to begin with also. I ended up putting mine with the end of the threads just beginning to appear in the sight hole on the shocks and I have about 4-4.25" of ground clearance under the car at the lowest point. I had issues with too low ground clearance/fitting in the car wash (took a sizable chunk out of the bottom engine cover on driver's side) before lifting it back up.

I think the springs say what their length/height is on them in white somewhere.

just to clarify, the BC kit should have 255 springs for the rear? I am looking at these coilovers but I am not looking for a major drop. ground clearance is a major concern. Anyone know what the min. amount these lower the car?

I would have to guess min I'm comfortable with is about an inch on my 2006 G35x. You will see the reason there is no concrete answer once you put them in. Depending on how much thread you are comfortable leaving in the base of the struts/shocks/spring seats, you may be able to get pretty close to stock height but the directions specify a min. amount of overlap/amount that should remain threaded for each. I ended up going with what I thought is about maxing out my height and it is still lower than stock but I do have some clearance above the winter wheels.

The BC COs are made to order so you can make different requests on the springs as far as I know.

Did anybody else receive the extenders for the dampening adjustment in the back? I'm not really sure, where do I lead that? Like to the trunk or something?

I have an 06x sedan and I ran the extenders up through where the rear deck meets the back of the seats. You just push the seat a little to see the opening. You can actualy stick your entire hand in from the side where the seat meets the trim closer to where the shock mounts and then feed the extender up with both hands (one from the top and one from the side). I cut a hole in the rubber cover over the shock mount so the extender ran through that as well. You end up with a couple things poking out from the rear deck but if you push them down to almost flush with the seatback it's hardly noticeable. Not sure if the 07 is similar setup or not.

Thanks, I'm gonna give the install a try today but to me it seems like the extenders might not be long enough to reach all the way up to the rear deck?

On mine they were plenty long enough and actually stick up a couple inches unless you push it back in-here's a picture of it pulled up to the max.
