SPC front camber kit: version 3?
SPC front camber kit: version 3?
I heard that there is a version 3 of the SPC front camber kit for our G. Anyone know what are the changes made from the previous version?
I'm talking about the kit SPC #72130

I don't know of one specifically for the sedan, but they did revise for the coupe. Should be interchangeable. The part # did not change, supposedly.
Basically reinforced the arm and joint connecting to the adjustable portion. Those who were slammed had a tendency for the arm to experience great stress at the joint and causing it to snap.
Check this thread for further detail on what changed, along with some posted photos of the difference.

One one side, one of my arms is a little bent on the end from hitting the wheel well. I think that with stiffer struts (KONI) to match my Eibach lowering springs, this won't happen too often which is why I'm just sticking with the old arms. IIRC, the first coupe arms were too long and banging the wheel well all the time. They then sub'd in the sedan part with fewer problems but in rare cases when you bottomed out, there was just too much stress/impact on the arms.
