Hawk HPS or StopTech Street Performance Pads?

For a Daily driver w/ regular spirited driving, no tracking though. Or if there's another pad you can recommend in the same price range as the HPS & Stoptech.

I have the Akebono BBK and I just replaced my original Akebono pads with Stop Tech SP pads. I also turned my rotors at the same time. To be honest I was expecting slightly better performance in comparison with OEM Akebono pads but I was disappointed. The pad were bedded in according to their website. Braking is good and have relatively good progression but the initial bite is lacking IMO. It is too soft for my liking. Probably the same as OEM Akebono if not slightly worse. No noise though. Maybe it's just my driving style but I'm going with slightly more aggressive pads next time.

HPS lacks the initial bite that the stoptechs have, but the HPS has a little bit lighter dust than the stoptechs. Both are great pads, great linear bite, both have great prices for them.
