Front end clunking noise

Apologies if this has been posted before, but I couldn't find what I was looking for on a search.

My 2007 G35x has an occasional clunking noise when going over bumps. Just had it into the local Nissan shop (they are much closer than Infiniti) to have a look. They said this is reminiscent of the known issue with the 2003-06 G35 but since the 2007 has no compression rod it is not that. Everything associated with the bushings and frame are fine. They had two 30+ year experienced mechanics driving it around for hours with the chassis ears (?) on and could not figure it out.

The noise is predominantly on the driver's side. I did hit a deer on the passenger front 6 months ago and had it repaired at a collision shop. I suppose this could have created the issue, but the mechanics' only thought after checking everything out was that maybe the noise was some metal flexing rather than anything broken.

Any ideas or recommendations would be welcomed. Thanks.

My guess is the sway bar end links. You can't tell when the bushings inside those things go bad just by looking.

Many thanks for your replies. Unfortunately all the possibilities noted so far were already checked and cleared as not the culprit.

Did you get this fixed? I'm chasing a clunking noise myself. It's enough to make you want to sell the car.

Unfortunately, i've been so busy that I have not had it in to be looked at further much less fixed. Fortunately, however, with the warmer weather finally making its way to the midwest, the noise is barely noticeable now compared to when it was -10 degrees.
