245/40R18 on 07 g35x?

hi guys, just wanted to know if i could put up 245/40R18 on my 07 g35X? just wanted to confirm, is it okay or not at all?

Unless you've changed the stock wheels on your car, you have 17" wheels, so NO, you cannot put them on your car; at least not without getting some bigger wheels.



EDIT: By the way, what ever became of your P0014 and P0024 fault codes? You never posted back with any final resolution/outcome.

Hi really sorry for the way i formulated my question lol, i want to buy these 18 inch rims that come with that tire size, so i just wanted to know if they would fit, bolt pattern is fine, 5x114.3

Ok, then YES, on 18" rims that are within a reasonable offset spec, they should physically fit on the car just fine. The rolling diameter will be off about 3.8% from the stock diameter it is calibrated for, so things like your speedo, odometer, traction control, airbags, etc. will all be slightly off, but not so much you would likely be in any trouble.

Again, what ever happened with the error codes you were getting? What was done about it?

Hi thank you first, about the codes, took it back to the dealership i bought the car from, apparently it was the solenoids that were replaced, never had the check engine light again. thanks for inquiring!

When the time comes switch to 245/45/18 to be almost the same as your OEM 17s.
