Rear shock to spindle bolt coilover install

Hi all,

I searched for this but found nothing. Yesterday I was in the middle of putting my coilovers in, and on the rear shock to spindle, the shock nut is welded to the shock body. The coilovers did not come with new hardware for the install. Has anyone come across this? Also does anyone know the bolt size? I would need to get a new set, but the people at home depot were duller than a ton of bricks.

I would assume factory sizing because it goes into the same bushing. Take the factory bolt to the store . Get grade 8 or better... don't want these shearing.

Yea I tried that, home depot was just a bunch of blank stares. They didnt have a bolt chart, so I couldn't find one, if I had the size I can find the same size bolt. Also the bolt is in the car still and it's my daily.

I see. I'd assume it's M8 tbh, but I can check in a few days. Can't do it today for you.
