I presume the silver paddles would be fine in a black/charcoal interior. Does anyone have pics or a part number for the silver paddles?
Yeah, they are silver, with a slight greyish/beige finish to them,

Precicsely,
see that little trim under the silver? that's the part that instead of being black, would be the willow (dingy grey/beige) color

That's correct, the black column peices would still be part of this price

I installed the paddles this weekend. Thanks for the parts, Phil and thanks to the OP for the DIY. I opted to not remove the steering wheel, which required a little more effort to remove the lower plastic trim.

Why would you think it would be? Does the '03 have the same transmission, same steering column, same wiring, same ecu, same . . . ???

Need verification please

I have a Canadian '08 G35x sedan, and would like to do this mod. Having seen in the thread that some base 08 models did not have the connectors, I took my lower column cover off to check. I've found two connectors taped up like the OP mentions. However, while they look similar, they are not identical (to each other). I've seen several posts in this thread that seem to indicate that they are identical, so I just want to verify before purchasing the kit that I have the proper connectors. Pictures below.

Go for it. Your car is pre-wired. The connectors are not identical to prevent the downshift plug being inserted into the upshift paddle.

Nope, it's the same response time as using the console shifter.

Paddles for 07 G35x

I live in Toronto Canada, and have a 2007 G35x with premium package and nav. Can I still buy this anywhere? Would I need to do any cutting or trimming or ordering of new trim pieces? Or, do i just order the paddles and plug them in basically? Thanks
