DIY: Lowering an 07 G35S pic and write up
thanks. I have had it for awhile now and am used to it. I am waiting for the tires to wear out to get some lower profile tires to increase the gap alittle. It is alittle misleading when h&r says it is 1.3 and the other option (forgot the name) was more. So i went with the lesser and it ended up dropping alot. It is cool though because i have really low cars before and am used to driving them.
Here you go guys, sorry for the odd angles, i just shot them with the car on the ground.
The brake lines should be self-explanatory when you start the job, these are the pertinent info of what to remove or loosen. I do not have pics of how to disassemble the front struts however as i did not need to do that with the coilovers, but they're just like any other McPherson strut assembly.
For the rears, there's no need to remove the shock, just remove the cup bolt and lower it to swap out the springs.
The rest should be easy to figure out with the illustrations.

Hey Timmay77, I am trying to install some lowering springs this upcoming weekend. I have read a few DIYs and for some reason and even though i cannot see the pictures, your seems to be the easiest and most reliable. It would be great if you could upload those pics once more. I'd appreciate the help. =]
