Yes it is absolutely less noticeable in person.
I can't quite figure that pic out, especial right at the end;
it must be shadows or something

It actually sits very nicely along the trunk.

Wayne, are you planning on drilling holes in the trunk lid on the end locations or are you going to try and only use double sided tape on the ends?
I'm waiting for someone to mount one, using only holes drilled behind the chrome finish plate location to see if fitment is acceptable.
I don't mind drilling holes behind the finish plate, but there's something about drilling holes on the trunk lid that has me upset. I know it's a permanent install, but I can get past it mentally.

I know what you mean about drilling.....
The way I look at it is;
I'd rather do a good careful job myself than have someone else slap it on.

^sorry IDK...
It was ordered through Rick@Riverside here.
..there are two different spoilers;
one with just 1 hole for the button
& the other with 2 holes, button & cam.

I may still have that sheet... I'll check later tonight.
Sorry for diggin up an old thread..
but anyone know if you can install the spoiler w/o drilling the 2 holes on the sides? It already comes with 3M double sided tape to hold down the spoiler, plus there are other mounting points where the chrome piece used to sit in order to screw down the spoiler.
I just don't think it is absolutely necessary to drill the extra holes on the sides. Can anyone confirm this?

I believe the consensus was that the extra holes were needed as the sides would pop up/rise if they weren't used. Also, many said that the spoiler didn't sit flush, again necessitating the use of the side holes.
