Look at page 1, post #2, images 10-13, it's the easiest thing to do with this swap. Unbolt bolt from bottom bucket, remove spring, put new spring on.

Follow this pic:

You reuse the small black spring seat that sits in the lower arm (helps with NVH).

So too adjust the height for front, you adjust
The dampner itself right? And not the spring?
And for the rear you just adjust the perch up or down?
Correct me, if I'm wrong. I'm installing coilovers tomorrow.
And would appreciate it thanks!!!

The front height is adjusted by the collar at the bottom of the spring, while the damper **** adjusts compression/rebound.

The rear is adjusted by the perch.

Bump 'cause I'm considering installing my Tanabe ProFIVE Coilovers by myself soon... I'm a little worried 'cause all I have is jack stands. Not very worried though; They're pretty much brand new. Still, I will try to follow the instructions on page 1 thorougly, but it doesn't hurt to ask once more if there are any tips suggestions hints anything. Please and thank you~

Welcome to the Pro5 family, I love mine. They are different than most coils in that the bottom of the struts doesn't spin to adjust height. The Tanabe's are set up exactly like the stock struts and shocks with the and only have one set of collars at the bottom of the helper springs up front so they are super easy to adjust, especially in the front. I adjust mine with the coil still on the car, just move collars up and down to adjust height. Or remove them to go lower like I did.

They ride great, but aren't meant for people that want to slam their ride. I have mine set on 4 clicks from soft F and 2 clicks from soft R for DD and it honestly rides better than stock. Dial it up a bit and it stiffens up quickly. I had done a few suspension swaps before I put mine on but I did them myself in 4 hours and that was with my dumb azz installing the first front one backwards so I had to completely remove it and start over. I could probably do them in close to 3 hours now. A couple of hints for you:
1. When installing the fronts dial the dampening to the softest setting. This will help you compress the strut to get it to easily clear the lower control arm.
2. I painted my S/M/H indicators white on the dials because it's all black and hard to see the marks. I have a sedan with the reclining rear seats, so I can reach behind them and adjust the rears.
3. Use a big screwdriver and a jack when lining up the holes to re-install the bolts in the bottom of all the struts. Use the jack to lift the spindles enough to line up the holes and then straighten them by putting the screwdriver through them and getting a nice even tunnel for the bolt. If you get it right the bolt will just slip in with no resistance.

Here's a pic of my car with one collar removed F/R. I'm dropped ~3" over stock even though Tanabe says it they only drop my car 1.5" max.

Let me know if you have any other questions about them.

Oh lord, dropped around 3"!? Agh I'm so excited! haha. I been drivin' around on a set of 20's with stock suspension for about 5 months, and I've been calling my G a monster truck since then, haha. I got a coupe so the rear adjustment won't be as easy? No biggie. Thanks a TON man Very good tips and it'll probably save me a few gallons of sweat :-p

Has anybody with newer BC coils used the extender for the dampening **** on the rear shocks? If so, where do I lead it? Do I have to drill any holes?

The extenders are actually for the older style rears. The new rears have the adjustment ***** on the outside and is reachable by jacking the car up a little.

In any case, you route it through the rear shock towers which exit right behind the rear seats. Unless anything's changed, the extenders they include is not long enough to exit out and above the seats so you'll have to extend those extenders like i did (http://gshack.org/?p=208), or just keep it in that cavity behind the seats... removing the seats everytime you want to adjust the shocks.

Hey I got a quick question. So what are the negatives (besides not being able to adjust the height) of installing the spring perch the "incorrect" way? I just installed mine and noticed that it's in the incorrect way. :X Thanks!

I imagine that you can't properly set the rear pre-load if it's installed incorrectly.
