Hey guys! I finally got around to finishing up this DIY to show how to replace your oem V36 Automatic shift boot, follow the steps at your own risk but if you do it all correctly the install shouldn't be too hard. Heres the steps..




























FOLLOW those steps and you should be able to put on the new boot to replace the crappy vinyl OEM boot with new leather, suede, vinyl, or carbon fiber.

i'm gonna need this when I get my boot. I wanna swap the stupid wood finish to the aluminum too

 

is this pretty much the same process to install the BIG shift boot?

 

Very close, instead of swapping the oem tiny boot you just take it off, remove the shifter panel with the p,n,r,d from the center console and put the boot around it then put it back together.
