intake Messed up my windows?

intake Messed up my windows?

when i instaled my intake i guess it messed up my auto windows not when they go down but when i try and make them autmatically go up! i remember hearing something about this. how do i fix it?

Not knocking you, but how in thee HELL does installing an aftermarket intake affect power windows??? It must be a coincidence that they failed at the time you installed the intake.....

Oh! This happened to me. There was a fix listed in the service manual I believe. But you need to reset the auto-up feature. Press and hold the window up button, and hold it up for I think it said 3-5 seconds after the window is already up. This should reset it.

I don't know what the intake installation entails, but did you disconnect the battery for any reason? According the Power Window Control section of the service manual, you are supposed to initialize the auto/anti-pinch system after the window harness is disconnected or if you disconnect the battery.

ya seems to be that the battery was disconected and now the auto needs to be reset

same thing happened to me....problem was the friggin intake was so loud it broke the switch.

just reset it youll be fine lol.

Hold the buttons all the way down for 10 seconds and then all the way up for 10 seconds.

thank god for search I had the problem windows would go down but not go up auto

I read the manual it says "open window half way and hold the up switch untill window closes the keep holding for 3 secs. Test it and should work
