Has anyone had a chance to check out the difference between the sedan's stock exhaust and the G37s?
I'm wondering if ours simply has another resonator on it or something that would be easy switch out to get the sound of the coupe?

My hunch is that it can't happen easily. Just going off the fact that 1st gen sedans have been in search of the coupe sound, and haven't been able to get it by using OEM parts. I'm no mechanic, but guessing that we are in the same boat and aftermarket is our only option to get a similar tone.

If anything the G37 either has different mufflers, different resonators or maybe even different cats further up. Should be relatively straight-forward to just swap them for OEM parts and call it a day.

^ That is exactly what I was thinking. I can't imagine the mufflers being very different. My guess is simply a resonator and if that was the case that would be a very easy fix.
Anyone seen both of the exhausts next to each other? Fast Intentions?

The stock mufflers on the G37 are transverse mounted under the trunk. They require the trunk floor on the coupe to be raised and will not fit the sedan.
I've held up my stock exhaust to a stock G37 exhaust (vik's) and I'm pretty sure everything ahead of the axle is the same between the current model G35's and G37's.

Any pics?
I'm sure that the coupe exhaust won't just bolt onto the sedan, tried it with a bunch of ppl at the dealership hahaha. I don't know honestly I like the sound of the 1st gen coupe more than the g37, any idea how we can make the sedan sound like that. If you listen very carefully you can hear the 1st gen coupe sound when you're in a tunnel and it's under load.
