Does anyone know if the G37 Exhaust bolts directly on to 2nd G35s?

Pretty small...maybe down to 2" in front of the mufflers for more ground clearance as it passes under the rear subframe by the rear differential.

I've asked this in the past, since I would LOVE to have the G37 exhaust on my sedan.

The answer, that I heard, is the exhaust on sedan runs length wise of the car, the G37's runs width wise.

I'm thinking that since the new sedans are dual exhaust like the coupes, at the worst, it's nothing a little modification can't fix. If the piping for the sedan is a bit longer, extend it like the Z midpipe fitted on a G (Nismo exhaust comes to mind here). And if it's the shape of the piping on the axleback that doesn't work, cut out the piping and redo it... probably about $100 of work at a good exhaust shop.

But then again, I don't have a new gen sedan or coupe, and I'm not famniliar with their parts so I can't really say... Anybody got pictures of the two to kind of compare?

Does anyone actually know?
Im not sure where you might be getting this information from but I work on Subaru's on a normal basis and their exhausts are NOT interchangeable from 98-2005 2dr or 4dr. As you can see from their different Part #s from Greddy:

Greddy Evo2 Exhaust System: 10166603
Model:IMPREZA WRX
Year:2002-05
Notes:80mm, also fits wagon / remove dif. protector

Greddy Evo2 Exhaust System: 10166601
Model:IMPREZA 2.5RS
Year:1998-01

I think for the trouble you might need to go through in order to get that G37 exhaust bolted onto your sedan, you might as well upgrade the entire thing to something like a FI or Stillen Unit. Thats if and only if you're going to end up paying $$ for a G37 exhaust and then pay more $$ to modify it. If its free, more power to you....

The reason the part numbers are different is probably the diameter of the pipes. The 2.5rs's are na and require a smaller diameter than the turbo charged wrx's/sti's

I know this because I fit an STI exhaust on my 2.5RS.

The main point of the post is to show that the 2dr and 4dr GC's could share exhausts.

the sedan has a bigger trunk and when you look under the car you'll see there isn't any room like the coupe has to place the muffler in the center.

Yup. That's exactly what I was trying to say in my post. Also, I believe the OEM G37 muffler bolts onto the OEM mid-pipe, whereas the OEM 2nd gen sedan muffler slips onto the OEM midpipe and fastens with a clamp.
