As far as I know, GTM is still working on the smoke issue. I'll update when I hear something so stay tuned.

Hope your hot dog feels better.
Now this is just my opinion. I've been following this thread from the beginning and I hope you get your car back soon and it lives up to all your expectations. BUT... 4+ months and counting is really poor customer service and professionalism on the part of GTM. Why work on a car that's not bringing in any more money and only costing money ? Your car should be the 1st one worked on everyday not the one sitting in the back till they have some free time. Why $$$ their not making anymore on the car. Now I don't know GTM or if that's what happening but that's what it seems like. Step up to the plate GTM. Your a well respected custom motor shop and you cant solve a smoke issue in 4 months ???? I hope I don't upset anyone with my opinion.
Good luck T.

Latest update: I just got off the phone with GTM. Smoking issue is FIXED. They ended up decreasing the oil restrictor size by .002 inch. Everything is looking good except for the boost creep, but they offered to let me take the car home for a few weeks to enjoy it. However, since I’ve been without my car for so long, I preferred they kept going to finish it up.
To really control boost creep, they want to change to a larger turbine housing to allow better response from the internal wastegates. This change is not expected to make much impact to the super fast spool-up they are getting now. On the outside, this should take no longer than 2 weeks, but they are shooting for earlier.
It seems the end is in sight again and I was very encouraged by our discussion. Finally, I was told there is another late model sedan being worked on back East so I’ll have more company soon.
Off topic side note for those asking: dog survived surgery and appears to be recovering fine.
