My morning at . GTM!
Good luck with it Terry, hope you get the car back soon.
I guess it'll be worth the wait in the end but you should seek some sort of compensation at least if you can't get a discount since it has been delayed for so long.

Great. It sounds like GTM is finally putting an end to this long-lasted thread.
Terry, if you're going to GTM sometime this week, please let me know. I'd like to go with you to check out the progress.

Glad to hear Terry that they are close to getting you car back. And is HELLA loud I'm guessing to loud. Would HFC's been a bad choice? May quiet it down a little. And would'nt you be worried about the police if too loud. just asking cause if I go the FI route I need to keep it on the quiet side. Boston is tuff on us..

The pipe GTM installed was supplied by Fast Intentions to bypass the cross-over muffler in the middle. This is only used for diagnostics purposes to separate the exhaust stream coming from each turbo.
The cross over muffler normally mixes the exhaust from both manifolds making it impossible to tell which side is smoking when looking at the two exhaust tips. They’ll put the muffler back on in the end making the car much quieter.

Also ... HFC is not recommended for FI as they can melt or clog up causing excessive backpressure.

My car is one step short of straight pipes and no mufflers (I still have the two rear mufflers on).
