So I won't be able to pass smog hear in CA if I get these HFC's?

Nope, youll fail.

I have yet to see a Hi-Flow Cat pass California smog tests.

No aftermarket cats are authorized for OBD-II cars in the State of Ca. with that said, if it will pass sniffer in any other state, it will pass in Cali. same federal test everywhere you go. you'll just fail the visual check here, if they go by the book. i personally got my HFC's installed at a SMOG place, they told me they could care less, as long as it'll pass emissions.

You might need to find the right autoshop that be able to help ya.
