I believe that the UpRev reflash is already available from several UpRev dealers. The local dealer in my area is still working on getting it for us, but should have it available within the next week or so. Once it is available here, Travis (KulG35) and I will let you guys know our results.

Not exactly sure where you're at in the Chicago area, but this place is the only UpRev dealer listed for your area on UpRev's web-site.

If you do go, make sure to let us know how it goes!

Thanks bro. You'll definatelty be the first to know for sure. It'll be a while before it gets done though depending on how much they charge

I've not had the chance yet. The plan was to get the HFCs installed and then get the custom tune done. The HFCs haven't come and I ended up catching the flu.

Just a note; the shop I'm going to informed me that I need to stop by about 2 weeks before hand so that my ECU can be pulled and sent to UpRev to be decoded.

So you can't drive the car for 2 weeks?

Sorry, let me rephrase that. The ECU data needs to be downloaded and sent to UpRev. The ECU itself does not need to be pulled.

Oh, that sucks... I haven't gotten the flu since I moved to Cali 6 years ago, but I used to get it every Winter when I lived in Cincinnati...

Thanks for the update, btw... I'm going to try and head back over there this week sometime and see if he can pull my ECU code to send off to UpRev... Last time Travis (KulG35) and I were there, he was having trouble pulling our stock ECU programs, so we weren't able to get our reflashes. Hopefully he'll be able to do it now. I may just have him install my Berks while I'm there... not quite sure if I'm gonna do it myself or not yet.

Oh no, you can drive your car... They don't actually have to pull the entire ECU.. they just use a readed and pull your factory ECU code / programming and send it off to UpRev in Austin to have them run their magic on it. Once they have written a new program for you, then you can go back and they can reflash your ECU and run a custom tune on the dyno for you too.
