Dont worry. The car will run exactly the same. The problem is that your O2 sensors are set to read a certain range of exhaust fumes. When you add HFC's your O2's are receiving more air than then set range so it triggers the CEL. The purpose of anti-foul extenders is to pull the O2's away from the center of the cats and hopefully block some of the air flow and in theory should be within the factory set range. The CEL is a solid light, not blinking, which is simply an indicator that something needs attention but it's not urgent nor will it cause the car to run any different. It just sucks to drive around a car looking at a CEL all the time. Hope this clarifies it for you.

This hissing that you get from HFCs is normal with ALL aftermarket HFCs especially for certain applications. After talking with BERK, they told me that the hiss is just worse in some vehicles than others.. our G's (HR motor) being one of them.

So, can the wrap cure this hissing or at least help a bit?

Hey everyone its good to know that at least i'm not the only one with this problem. I have the greedy evo2 and test pipes and i used to notice it around the same RPM 2000 so i thought it was the headers. I went out and bought the dc sport headers and now the sound is TWICE as loud. I'm so mad it really does make me think im driving some honda POS.So me and my friends came up with wraping the exhaust from the headers to the H pipe and OH what a differance, it was alot of money and wrap but well worth it. Hope this helps

Wrap definitely helps. I've had my exhaust wrapped and it helped quite a bit. I plan on having the cats wrapped if I can get the CEL to go away.
