Don't worry I still haven't gotten mine. To be honest I think I'd rather just cancel my order at this point.

 

^ It really depends on your other mods... you'd obviously gain the most if you were SC... but I believe Robby gained 10+ HP (13 or 14 peak, I think) out of his Impuls.

Don't worry man... I don't think it's Andy that's the hold up. It seems that Berk couldn't really handle the demand of this GB. Out of the 15 people that bought, we are the last 3 left to get ours. Here's the update message I got from Andy yesterday.

Man Berks is killing me, they said they had ready than they emailed me back and said they werent and now waiting on the tabs to finish getting cut and will let me know as soon as they are ready. I told them to call me asap when ready.

Btw, really sorry about this, guys.... when I orignally talked to Bryan at Berk about doing a GB, he said that it would be no problem at all and that they kept enough of these in-stock to hande the demand... Of course, we were only thinking we would get 5 or so orders at that time, not 15!! LOL

 

Funny I just left a message for HPAuto to call me back so that I could get some sort of a status. Good to hear an update.

 

No problem. I actually talked to Andy on Monday and he said that Berk would be shipping them out on Tuesday or Wednesday of this week, but then he sent me the messsage above yesterday... so apparently Berk is still trying to finish making the last few sets of HFC's. I actually drove right by Berk's place today, but unfortunately I had a principle in my car with me, so I couldn't go in. I will probably be driving by there again early next week, so I will definitely plan on stopping in and talking to Bryan to see what's up if these haven't shipped out yet by then.

I left a message to the number above and got a call back from Andy on my way home. Same day call back so he isn't trying to dodge us. Basically Berk sent my HFCs to the wrong group buy member and informed him that mine had already shipped (weeks ago since I was third to place the order out of the gbuy.) so he called Berk and they admitted to screwing up. I guess I should have followed up with him a little earlier.

Anyway, Berk is out of some of the components to complete the order but should be able to ship Friday or Monday. Andy apologized for not providing me any update as Berk had already told him they completed my order.

I wonder who the third member to get my HFCs was....I'm going to blame csquared for having a similar user name

Wow... Wonder if that's what happened to mine. I should have been the 1st one on the list, although Andy tells me I was 4th to pay, but like you, I still don;t have mine yet either. Hopefully Berk will get them finished up this week, so I'll have them next week to install.

 

Damn. It's been like over a month no? I just got mine installed last night and i love them. I'm pretty happy that while cruising my exhaust is not considerably louder. A little off topic, did you have time to install your springs yet Adrian?

 

Hey D cecc629 do you have any rattles or anything?!! WHen you rev up or when you get up to around 6k and change gears?

 

hm...i havent noticed anything yet. Then i again i only drove it from the shop back to my house. When i take it out tonight ill be sure to keep my ears open and ill let you know tomorrow for sure. Where does it sound like it's coming from? The shop told me the mechanic who did my install dropped a socket in my engine bay and couldnt find it so i might be hearing that.
