Thanks for the up date.. glad someone is on top of things. My retune involves the hot start issue due to my larger inj. Finally a fix for it. Also figured since the cats may change the car I wanted it all retuned at the same time.

I spoke with Andy today, basically BERK had to change the HFCs to meet different emissions testing. Should be shipping soon...

Berks changed the HFCs? So are they not as high flowing anymore?

 

Well technically it was illegal for vendors to sell test pipes or highflow cats to any customers in California since Jan 1 2009.

 

So I'm not sure about that. Didn't really get a chance to ask.

 

yea i spoke with Berk today... nice folks too. their hands are tied... but no fear they will be shipping them very soon. the cores had to be re stamped because of california law.. got to love that crap.. everyone wants money and certification. pretty soon you'll have to have a permit to take a dump more than twice a day. Augh time is winding down and i got my apointment to stick to in two weeks.

How would I find out if my HFCs are the High flowing ones or the redesigned ones?

Well, they haven't even startedshipping the new design, so you would have the old design. I think your are correct, Clement, I don't think there is actually any difference between the new ones and the old ones other than a stamp on the core that they are required to put on now for some government bull. It sounds to me like everything else is exactly the same.
