Im on the fence on intakes.. but if there was intakes that im gonna get, it seems like I would go for these.

Should I get intakes guys? What do you think? Is it even worth it? Or should I just stay stock intakes and spend the money elsewhere.

Im also waiting for the reviews of kool yaar and agiraldo.

 

Well wes, How often do you open your hood to show people? I love my intakes and they give a nice sound when i floor it, but i prefer the sound of my exhaust more so i don't really floor it that hard because it gets hella loud. If you're not going to show off the intakes i would save the money and do something else. If you have exhausts it's not going to give the same amount of power output as a stock car with intakes, plus from what a read all intakes shifts the power/torque curves, meaning it might not be as friendly to drive around town, my car with my X and intakes, means my power band shifts up, which = I need to keep the car reved higher. It's up to you do you want the sound?

I mean, I wouldnt mind the sound, but do I really need more sound? not really... I get enough sound from my stillens. Thanks for the honest reply Clement.. I think your probably right.. save the money and spend it elsewhere... back to a drop? :S lol

Yeah I gave up on the hotchiks, I talked to one of my friends at the body shop who's a car guru he told me to get new bushings, that should help a lot more.
I went and got a front lip lol.
Well i took my car to my friend who's a dealer, we took a stock car and drove mine back to back with the stock car, my power band is wider, and my car goes faster, but the power band does feel like it moved up. Maybe if i get a tune it would be better but thats with the stock ECU, also i have fujitas, and some people say you lose torque down low, the dyno charts i saw didn't say this but maybe thats the reason my power band moved. But I do have quite a bit of performance mods so you never know.

ya... I guess maybe I'll just see how the other guys like their R2C's and take it from there and see what other options I have.
