Those are not the same, the first link you posted is of the old version which is for the 350z HR and is only half tubes with different design filters and shields.

The G37/G35 HR intakes are TOTALLY redesigned and produced including complete tubing from throttle body to filter(oblong) and shields hope that helps.

Ok guys just an update i got the "hose kit" from R2C which includes 2hoses, 1 y adapter(driver side) and 1 90deg adapter (passenger side) and the fit has been perfect and the customer service is TOP NOTCH nothing like iv had before.

Ed has been very pleasant and apologetic for the situation and even reimbursed me for my expenses of DIY hose fitting.

Overall i am VERY satisfied at the end and am happy with the sound and gains that ARE noticeable regardless of others might say, butt dyno for the win!

R2C for the WIN!

I have attached a few pics of the fit but they are from my 1.3mp crappy phone so sorry about that, hopefully better pics and video to come by sunday if i can get my friends camera

Driver Side Y Adapter

Passenger side 90 deg adapter

The suppressed rubber lining shows how nicely it seals with the hood insulator to provide a nice seal

Overall crappy pic

hey Kool - thanks for posting these pics!

Im very glad to hear that the hoses they provide is a perfect fit for our G's.

This is great news =) This should make it very easy for fellow sedan owners to make a move for these intakes!

Cant wait for the vids!!!! :P

wait we only have 1 crankcase breather?
does the stock intake use a Y-pipe or does a hose go from one intake only to the crankcase breather?

yes the stock system is like a Y system, it has a breather on the driver side which acts as a y-pipe and then has a crossover pipe(in last pic the thick pipe nearest to the engine top) that carries the vent gases to the passenger side to connect to the passenger side intake, this setup is ditto to the stock setup, only the breathers have been replaced with these adapters.

To everyone's amazement (mine and R2C) the g35 sedans only have one crankcase vent on driver side and none on the passenger side UNLIKE the g37 sedans and coupes which lead to all these problems with the hoses that i was having, but now everything is perfect fit!

Check out the right most red circle that's the factory "y" style breather on driver side that then goes to the center circle which shows the crossover pipe and then into the passenger side intake through resonator.

Hope this helps

So I finally got my R2C intake.

My quick review.

Packaging: Excellent. No chance of damage.

Fit and Finish: Very high quality product. Love the heat shields, well engineered.

Installation: Easy, but I am no mechanic and struggled a bit with the Y hose portion. Had to cut the hose down ultimately. Next time I pay someone.

Performance: Hard to tell. If I were to guess I would say it feels about the same, but my butt dyno says some gain 4k and up with little to no low end loss. This combined with my FI cat-back seem to make for some nice overall gains.

Sound: Excellent. FI and R2C make some sweet music together.

This is the best review you can find with videos by RED. Do note that the dyno is INDEPENDENT customer dyno of Stillen 3G vs. R2C notice the 5000rpm+ range

Hope this helps you with your decisions.
