Greekboy, I had the same problem with a passenger side screw. I guess I must have over tightened it and it broke off. The sensor still stayed on pretty stable but I was just being a perfectionist and had to get it out and replace it. First drill a small pilot hole on the screw with a 5/64" drill bit and then use a #1 screw extractor...came out nice and easy.

Thanks Pimp, mine was the passenger side as well and the sensor is stable as well haha. I will have to go ahead and use your tip when I get some time, it is driving me crazy even though there is really no reason to fix it. I really need to pick up an extractor. I can't believe I don't have one.

i just installed the R2C. Everything looks great and sounds great. I ran into one small problem though with the passenger side hoses. It still does not fit 100% and even with the 90 elbow fitting included and trimming the hoses. The hose kinks horribly because of the angle it has to bend. I informed R2C and waiting for a response. I had no problems with the driver side.

I had a similar issue with my drivers side hose but realized I made a mistake. Bat if you take a look at the picture of the passenger side intake you will see what step it looks like you missed. I don't know the name of it but that box connected to the hose need to go. Hope you can figure out what I mean with my terrible explanation.

i removed the driver side "box"(resonator) that you are talking about, I didnt think this one had to go, but it does? It would make sense....

If you still have the manual that was provided with the intake take a look at the last few pages where it shows some close up with the intake and the hoses. I gives you a really good look at that area much better then I could ever explain.

Yes Sir! that is exactly what I was poorly describing. Loose that thing and you should be all set, besides that I hope your loving your R2C as much as I am.

thank you! makes perfect sense! ill take care of that little issue in the morning and be on my way!

so far the R2Cs are great. The takedas actually were a little louder and meaner but I love the heat shields with the R2C.

You think it's better than the Takedas or did you just get it for peace of mind that it has heat shields?

I'm still confused as to which one is a better intake...

well to me it seems like it was constructed a little better with a much better fit and finish. dont get me wrong, the heatshields are a big plus. Without a dyno though, its hard for me to say really. Im sure most, if not all, intakes are the same.

I am very happy though!
