I just got the intake this morning came pretty early and I decided I should have plenty of time before work to set it up. Everything seemed to go very well although I have no mechanical ability what-so-ever. The only thing I can't seem to remember and it is bothering me is that the master warning light the "!" inside of the triangle comes on when I open the door and only then. I want to say it never did this before and I can't seem to figure out if it is a result of the intake or not. When I first took it for my first spin after the install everything was fine (sounds so sexy by the way). Then I got home and wanted to reprogram all the radio stations etc. I went to lower the windows and the passenger side just stopped. I was able to get it working again after a few restarts and is working fine now. I was able to bring it to my mechanic who was crazy busy and he only had like 5min to take a look at it but he said it looks like everything was installed properly. The only thing is this light every time I open the door. Does this always happen and am I just loosing it?

That yellow triangle light with "!" in the middle is just a warning light which can be for many things not related to intakes(if it was intake problem you would see a CEL light).

The light could be for an open door, low gas, maintenance reminder etc... hope that helps, its very normal and the problem should be shown on the center red lcd display

Alright so I am just loosing it. I does always come on with an open door. I couldnt remember for the life of me and I felt like I did something wrong. Thanks Kool took the worry right out of me.

The intake from when I drove it has been awesome so far. The sound is intoxicating and I can feel a slight increase in power. Nothing drastic but you can definitely feel it when you put your foot down. My engine bay has never looked better as well! Very pleased with the initual results of the R2C.

Bat I got the black chrome as well, seems like its the big favorite. I will post up some pics tomorrow if I get a chance to.

Wes & Scott - When I am about to make the buy I will ask Kyle and see if the three of us buy it together maybe we can get a few bucks off. If you guys want to hold off like a month or so, let me know.

Thank you, yeah I love my first day with them. Couldn't be any happier with the exception of me breaking the head off one of the screws where the sensor goes . Trying to decide if I should even bother trying to get that baby out and replacing it. The intakes look great and the quality is just fantastic.

Loving day 2 with them. Just got back from a friends house and was showing it off. Got him a bit jealous.

Thanks Bat, I try to clean it up Bi-weekly right after a car wash. I hate opening up to a dirty engine bay.
