Stillen exhaust or FI exhaust??
i currently have the Stillen exhaust which I have had for the last couple of years, but just recently i put on the Berk HFC's. It has gotten a lot louder. I know HFC's make it louder but i used to have a 03 coupe with Crawford cats and Borla exhaust and it wasn't nearly as loud. i was wondering if the FI exhaust would be quieter than the Stillen?
Since you live in the bay area. If you would like to hear a 07 G Sedan (in person) with FI cat back exhaust shoot me a PM
. This way you can judge for yourself the sound difference (b4 making a purchase). Plus I wouldn't mind hearing how your exhaust system sounds

i can tell you first hand that stillen catback vs FI catback, FI is much quieter and civil with nearly no drone as compared to stillen.
Comparison comes from a friend who has the 08g35J with stillen exhaust, he too likes how the cabin remains "luxury" with FI under normal load, but is another story under WOT...
Remeber this comparison is coming from catback only, no HFC involved which would make the car much louder, also as Tony @FI said MT's will remain quieter than auto's with exhaust and my friend has an auto.

maybe check out fujitsubo? my friend has it on his G37 (supposedly the only or first set they sold in america) and his sounds almost stock... They are rated at 3db higher than stock which is pretty quiet... My friend ended up buying a Y pipe to make it louder (barely)
