The first run was full stock on the car, no HFC's.no KN filters and No h-pipe.
The second run was with HFC's,KN filters, H-pipe and Bullydog. What I saw on the dyno was that the BD makes more power under the curve and the +2 deg makes it more aggressive but the same peak power (268) at lower rpms.
At WOT your can feel more power after 3800 rpms and up.

I cannot scan the dyno because the printer on the shop was not working.
I still running the stock resonators and mufflers and I notice that they struggle getting the air out. I regret that I sold my FI catback because I feel that this new setup it more suitable for it.

The thing with my car now is on startup. When your press the start button the car start and then shuts down. I believe this is because a lot of fuel and the HFC's. At some times I got the CEL with P0420 and P0430 and I clear those with the BD. I called Tony of FI and he talks about a modification on the HFC's.

Those are my impressions and comments.

I definitely don't have that!

I'm telling ya, these HFCs sound like more trouble than they're worth.

It's easy to change the ECU programming with the Bully Dog, right? You should've switched to the stock program, dyno and compare the results.

^ true but that would take him about 1hr for the changes (30mins bd-> stock and then 30min stock-> bd) plus i think he would have to drive with tune for a while after reset to let the car manage the tune and then dyno it so he would have spent a lot o f time on it.

Regardless props to him for doing it and sharing it with community considering no one else was doing it.

Well I was at the dealer on Friday and the service manager told me that there was not an issue after all with the fans. The Engine should be here this week and they will continue to troubleshoot once they have the engine installed. He said it only takes one day to put the engine in. Still nothing was said about the BullyDog. Once they start to replace the engine, the power will be disconnected. To my understanding , this will reset the ECU once the power is connected and the BullyDog Tune is wiped out. Or is It? I will keep you guys posted.

Bullydog horror story...

Ok so....bully dog contacted me on Friday with the version E file and I installed it immediately.

First install, everything seemed to be ok except for the fact that it said that I shouldnt piggyback it on top of another programmer. (my car is stock except for magnaflow muffler deletes) So, I shrugged it off and took it for a spin:

1. VDC and slip lights come on suddenly and stay on during the drive
2. Shift points didnt seem to be where I had set them
3. Car completely loses power during a 4mph turn and I almost die from a side impact. WTF?

Round 2

Tried to reinstall

1.Bullydog tells me again that I shouldnt piggyback
2. All settings were not what I had set them to be. (shift points stock, regular hp, +2 timing change remained, idle settings remained where I had set them because I was hoping to fix the dip in idle under load)
3. Bullydog programmer craps out 3/4 through with an ERROR CODE 10040011 or something like that.

Round 3

Had to unplug BullyDog and start over trying to go back to stock.

1. It finally finishes but this is where it gets interesting
2. The car throws a code about it unable to load its ram
3. VDC and slip constant on from startup
4. startup will generally kill immediately, if it does start its VERY anemic until I clear the code
5. If the code is not cleared...the acclerator is cut...that means absolutely NO power.
6. Shift points seem to be different for each gear but never exceed 6500
7. Shifting is abrupt and jerky
8. 4th and 5th gear have NO power at all

and for the finale

9. AT exactly 11 minutes after clearing the original code, it throws the same code again killing power to accelerator. It doesnt matter if you are going 30-90 mph, there is no power and it wont come back until you clear the code.

The code cant be cleared unless the car is in park.

The kicker is I was a moron and tried to do this 400 miles from home....
every 11 minutes I had to put my hazards on and pull off the interstate to reset the effing code......

I cannot get the car back to normal...bullydod programmer seems to have hijacked it no matter if its in "stock" form or bullydog form.

Im not sure whats next, but you can gaurantee Bullydog will be hearing from me tomorrow in the AM!

Dude, you should have stopped when it warned you about piggybacking!
You have ***** doing away from home, I'll give you that.

I just put on 200 miles driving to CT for a cousin's wedding.
Car is running like a top and stronger than ever.

Call BullyDog and get your update corrected and do it at home when support is available, like they suggest in the instructions.

So by piggybacking you mean, you have another tune attached to your ECU already?
