but which one is better . . pedal method ? or uplugging method ? and why

The Auto up feature is disabled once the battery is unhooked for a while and requires resetting. Info is in the manual. Roll the window down, and then roll it up, holding the switchin the "Up" position for approx 5 seconds. Then roll it down doing the same thing... done.
You need to do it for each window, assuming all your windows have the auto-up feature

I unplug... I'm not very good with my dancing feet.
The pedal method is quicker, once you learn how to get it right. That's what the techs most likely use.
The method of unhooking the negative battery cable takes 10-15 minutes, which is a lifetime in the service dept.
I've read that the ECU reset is not necessary with installing an intake, so I plan on installing mine without the reset to see what I get.

^^^ There won't be much shiny going on after the thing is installed, maybe just a little bit By the way, i think you should reset the ECU after installing the intake or you're likely to get dismayed the first few miles like i did.
Glover997, i prefer the pedal method but only because i won't have to deal all the memory settings again (radio, seat, windows). But the battery method is certainly easy to do. I don't know what other differences there are between methods.
