K&N Filter vs Stock Filter

It it worth it to spend the extra money to switch out to K&N filters in my stock 07 G35X? In live in Atlanta GA, no major dust issues were I need to replace/clean the filter all the time. Thanks for any imput.

There's a few people online here that are very happy with the results of the K&N drop-ins.

Are the K&N filters $50 a piece? So a total of $100 would be required? Also, are there any cheaper alternatives? Basic Fram air filters for example? Is Kragen (or Napa) a good brick and mortar to buy?

funny you say that. I just purchased these today. I am not a big fan of oiled filters.
