Today I drove my car in DS mode and I didn't notice that I turned on the first gear when starting and pushed the gas pedal reaching 8000+ rpms. I was scared of this, stopped the car and my car died (like there was no fuel) - I couldn't start it pushing the Start button!

Then, after 2 minutes, I tried again and everything was ok, it started without bad smell or smthng...

What was that?

P.S. I have a security system, that shuts down fuel pump, when opening drivers door when the car is started, but it never turned on so randomly... But, who knows...

 

Does you security system have a remote start as well?

In any case the next time this happens (if it happens), that is if you car will not start, check to see if your steering wheel is locked or not. I've had a series of no starts on my 08. Various parts have been replaced but I am not so sure it is fixed yet.
