Revshift Intake Manifold

Revshift Intake Manifold
Anyone seen this before? Looks like crap in terms of quality but who knows
This aluminum sheet metal intake manifold is designed to fit the Nissan 350Z 2007-2008 VQ35HR
Revshift's intake manifold designs take advantage of high air-flow characteristics, inertial effects, and pressure-wave tuning to achieve air density in cylinders that substantially exceeds the oem intake manifold.
These manifolds are fabricated from high quality 6061 aluminum. They are 100% precision TIG welded by a skilled professional for maximum strength and durability. All flanges are CNC cut to perfection from 3/8" thick 6061 aluminum. Although it is not necessary in naturally aspirated applications, air/fuel tuning is recommended to maximize horsepower gains and reliability.
Price: $1099.95

the lower welds on the runners look like they're mig welded. How can anyone mess up mig welding that bad? you can see holes along the beads that were covered up with paint or whatever finish they applied over the thing.

Those are tough angles to get at if the entire thing was tacked together and then welded up. It really needs to be assembled one pipe at a time in order to get a decent job done.
I have years of pipe welding experience in both Mig and Tig... Stainless, Steel and Aluminum. I used to build cryogenic transport trailers from the ground up, specializing in Co2, Nitrogen and Liquid Oxygen.
I got sick of the shop work and went back to school. I'm in an office now and although I'm doing exactly what I set out to do, I now miss the old shop work. I have to get my garage built up so I can do some work out of my house... just to settle the urges.

Oh, almost forgot... That manifold looks really bad... hopefully it's an early prototype and the actual production units look 1000 times better, otherwise they're gonna have a hard time selling it.
