Z-tube vs g-tube

So I just bout two z-tubes from my friend for $60 + my g-tubes. But now that I look they are the exact same size outer diameter and can't exactly tell if the inner diameter is the same or not. From what I've searched the in er diameter of the g tube is small because it's insulated right? And is there any way to see if my g tube was already a z tube? Any big indicators?

You said the g tune was on bottom didn't you? And the g tube has wrinkles. Did you mean the z tube was on bottom?

So you guys are sure that and hr 350z intakes have no wrinkles?

Z tube is top and G tube is bottom. Those "wrinkles" are couplers bro and the couplers can come off.

screw wrinkles and non wrinkles....G-tube is a chambered intake, the boxes hanging off the bottom one one in the picture are to kill engine noise and this robs your engine of a few ponies. With the Z, nissan didn't care as much about creature comforts and just put a straight tube = more noise + more power. Look for chambers to indicate a G tube
