What is the best exhaust??

Hey guys, I am looking to mod my exhaust for my 07x. I heard about Tanabe T70130A Medalion from another thread, but wanted to see if anyone knows of anything else out there. I don't want my car to sound super loud, but am more concerned with increasing the performance. Hopefully you guys can give me some advice, thanks.

I heard the Invidia cat back first hand and it's pretty quite compared to my Stillen. It's well made and makes good power. They pretty much all make the same power unless they're only axle backs.

performance shouldn't be your number 1 concern with an exhaust. It should be sound. And in that case everyone's taste is different. The power gains you'll see from an exhaust without a tune are minimal and you wont be able to tell much difference.

You choose an exhaust based on (1) sound, (2/3) looks/price. Performance differences are minimal between brands when comparing the same type of systems.

i love my invidia Q300, they have now changes their name to gemini I believe. anyways here

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Invid...#ht_1768wt_939

it breaks in real nice, the cabin is still quiet on highway speeds cruising with the windows up, and when you get on it, its awsome. gains were minimal until my tune, but like others posted you mainly get it for sound preference only. also maybe the x is different with fitment but it shouldnt be a big problem? im not sure someone may chime.

p.s. i made an offer for $850 to the same guy about one year ago and he accepted. ( that was after haggling up from $800)

If anyone's interested in a particular brand of parts, check the vendor section here and on myg37.com first. I'm sure the vendor(s) could try to match pricing, and by purchasing from them, you're supporting the people who keep this forum operational.

Food for thought.....

I would go that way, but in many cases it's $400-500 more and I don't really see the benefit/value over the Invidia.

........Austin you gotta be kidding, their sound is terrible and there's no HP increase....zero! MotorDyne or HKS will not only offer you a great sound but HP increase also....along with looking great.

Gary

You do realize you're in the Sedan section, right?
There are way too many people in the Sedan section with FI instaled that would argue this comment

I like the way the Fast Intentions sounds on the 07 and up sedans.
