I have the opportunity to purchase a stillen supercharger off a G37 and said it could be retrofitted for my G35. It is used with only 1000 highway miles. They told me the owner did not drive it hard or take it to the track, it was on his show car. It comes with an oil cooler and I can get it installed and tuned all for $6,100. I need to let him know ASAP. What do you guys think?

who will be doing the tuning and have they tuned this kit on your year & model G?

 

^ +1, tunning would be the biggest factor apart from assuring that all the parts are in good condition, especially the SC itself.

 

S&R performance in Tampa would be doing the tuning and the car was mostly driven to shows so the supercharger has hardly any wear and still has the warranty. Plus my dealer says it will not void my other warranties either. Just got off the phone with the tuner and they have done that install and testing for Stillen.

 

i have a stillen stage 4 supercharger for ya if your intrsted no tuning needed on a stillen its a sealed timming box just wire it in and go let me know if your intrested im a stillen dist as well so any questions hit me up

OP, i'm glad your tuner has experience with the kit. just make sure they have experience tuning it on your specific year and model G.

Stillen is made for Infinity and Nissan and sold at their dealerships. I've heard that it does not void the warranty on the car.

Sorry to thread jack but has anyone installed this on a VQ35HR motor yet? I have read the VVEL guys are having problems with the stillen tune and wondering if the same holds true for the VQ35HR.

 

im debating on it but the gains are not impressive for going FI... I rather have more torque and go the JWT Twin turbo kit on my VQ35HR....

so im back and forth but most likely going back to twins
