NEW Takeda CAI, front mount

I test fitted the new Takeda cold air intake for our G's. For info on the intake and sound clips see below:

I love the look of the intake and my butt dyno felt a smooth consistent delivery of power! My only 2 intial thoughts of concern is it does not currently have a hydroshield or prefilter and it does not fit with my ionic grille that I love! I have to say it is pretty amazing for the price ($366.45)! Claimed gains of 19 horsepower and 12 lbs. x ft. torque with a weight of 10lbs. There is not drilling or cutting required for install.

Sounds nice! I'm not sure about the mfr claims on hp/tq are correct though. Maybe since you are one of the first you can jump on a dyno to get an idea of where you are at! Looking good though.

I think putting this on without taking off the bumper is possible, but still a PITA.

^ i think you can install it without removing bumper but without the new mounts that attach to the front support.

They highly recommend removing the bumper because of vibration if you don't have the brackets.

I was wondering, how does this compare with the Stillen Gen 3? Does having one filter change anything compared to having two filters?

it looks like a good intake system but would driving this in the rain make it suck in water and cause the motor to hydrolock???
