Hi I have a 2008 G35 Sedan and when running the AC and stopped at a light the revs drop below 800 rpm down to 400 and the oil light will briefly come on as if the car will stall. It doesn't stall and the computer readjusts the revs to about 800 or higher and it will smooth out. This occasionally happens when the AC is not on without a load but about 80% of the time with AC on and stopped at a light.
The car has about 70,000 miles now and runs well aside from this one issue.
Any ideas? Maybe it needs a throttle body service?
Thanks for any input.

I'd start by cleaning your throttle bodies and seeing if that resolves the issue. Most of the erratic idle issue i've seen on here are just symptoms of dirty TBs.

Also, do the simple things by checking all your fluid levels to make sure they are up to spec. Having an oil light come on is not a good sign even with erratic idle issues. Other members, although having weird idling, do not have this oil light indicator.
Maybe you have low oil pressure due to not enough oil in your engine or some kind of leak somewhere?

There is a reprogram available for the ecm for this issue. If the problem persists, it is going to need both exhaust valve timing retarders and both exhaust cam sprockets replaced. Already had one of these take me to the cleaners trying to figure it out. Hope this helps
