That engine knock!

Left a gas station and immediately felt the car acting sluggish. (I always use Shell V-Power but this time i used Ultramar @ 91)

- I noticed the car getting hot (heat from engine bay)
- Started knocking slowly then went crazy

I hope it's the time chain tensioner...

Any suggestion?

why don't you just go back to using a Teir 1 gasoline and see if that solves the problem.

I always use 91 oct. I just used another BRAND.

If it's a Rod knock...i assume it's cheaper/faster to replace the engine.(?)

well the way you phrased your question suggests that the issue is related to your use of Ultramar gas.
