A severely damaged battery will actually act as a voltage sink when trying to jump start from another car. I would definitely swap batteries if you have another one handy.

anyone happen to know which code ecu a 2008 g35 manual sedan takes. I was given three with the car and they're all different, it has an F7 in it right now which I just learned is for a 2011 g37 awd so no wonder the car doesn't crank. Infiniti parts deal wont give me an ecu part number based on vin so if any of y'all have one of these id really appreciate it if you could let me know the proper two digit code.

 

BUMP BUMP BUMP I still haven't been able to confirm which ECU is correct. I believe JU is the correct code but I cant find anyone selling an ecu for a manual 08 sedan any help would be very appreciated

 

You could try looking on eBay for an ECM for that exact vehicle and see what part numbers people are listing for sale.

 

Or call up your local infiniti dealership and have them look up the part number for your VIN number.
