Coolant leak?

So today we got a bunch of snow dumped on us, and of course I needed to run to the store. So I cleared off most of the G, started her up, and proceeded to clear the last little bit of the driveway. Once clear I backed up a bit so I could clear the passenger side off. While walking around the front I noticed 2 green spots on the ground, coolant colored, 1 on each side of the engine and offset front to rear. I know there are a couple plastic fittings that tend to go bad on these, but I'm not 100% sure if that's the source. Any ideas what else it could be, If anything?

Probably coolant, if it's actually making droplets like that it should be easy to find with a pressure tester.

Driver/left side pay particular attention to the coolant weep hole on the block where the thermostat is, might have a water pump starting to fail.

Didn't appear to be that far forward, looked closer to the firewall. Hopefully I can take a look at it tomorrow on my lunch break.

Check the connector on the heater hoses. One side is just a straight connector, the other side it has a bleeder screw. One is on the driver's side of the engine and the other on the passenger side. They are both plastic and prone to deterioration.

That's what I was thinking. Yesterday during my lunch break I parked her over some fresh snow and let her idle for about the same amount of time as she did when she leaked that little bit. While she was idling I looked around the engine bay the best I could and didn't see anything unusual, though I wasn't able to check the weep hole for the water pump. I already have a replacement for the bleeder, I'll have to find a replacement for the other piece too. She's getting some work done next weekend, so I went ahead and ordered a new water pump, also gives me an excuse to change the gallery gasket while I'm in there.

Dropped the splash shield to inspect the leak on her front diff today, definitely have coolant coming from the weep hole. New water pump and gaskets are on hand ready to install in a couple weeks. Taking care of the gallery gasket while I'm at it too.

Don't forget the primary timing chain tensioner. It's pretty shot at 150k miles and if you're tearing the front apart you might as well replace it. Secondary tensioners (at the top, cam to cam) are usually fine. Inspect the primary guide THOROUGHLY for any small cracks, usually it's fine but if it shows ANY sign of cracks (even ones that might look like a crack but feel normal when you scrape an awl across it) replace it.

Anybody happen to know the size of the coupling on the passenger side heater hose?
