Mine too, although it's only a mm or two...it doesn't feel like a big deal, the wheel is a rock once it clicks in. Who knows tho, let us know what the dealer tells you.

I just checked mine over lunch. It seems to only be specific positions where it does it. The posistion that mine goes to by default does not do it, but if I take it up just a little bit, then I can push down on it and feel about a millimeter of travel.

yup went to the dealer today definatly under warranty and definatly a safety issue. they are most likely going to have to replace the whole steering column. anyone else go yet and get info??

didnt say much because the infinit warranty hq were closed on a sat. but they said that they didnt hear anything about it so i told them that a lot of people are complaing about this online from all over the country so you have to do something about it. they got back to me and said that yes they will most likely have to replace the sterring column and ill get more info on mon as to how long what will replaced or w.e else.

i even told them in the beggining that i can print out the forum discussions so they can see the amount of defects because at first they were weary as to if its a defect. once i said that then they started to get on the phone with other dealers etc.

Really minor to me.... but I too have felt this on occasion.
How is it a safety issue? It seems to lock in once it shifts.

indeed. but something that can unlock sometimes, may unlock at other times.

i'd rather the manufacturer tell me it's not a problem than to assume it isn't.

I have the same issue. I may take it in the next time I go for an oil change.

Yeah, mine sometimes moves if I put force on it, like when scooting up when getting in. I may mention it to the dealer
