First Mod of Interior Lights

Here are some pics of my first mod of changing the bulbs to LEDs.

Something easy to do. Thanks for the posts on this forum.

I really like the LEDs for the door. To have the others like it would make it hard to read anything. The yellowish light is the original one. I wanted to show the difference the LED has over the bulbs.

I got them from superbrightleds.com

they are all 194 WLED 5-LED Wide angle bulbs. You can choose the different colours. 3.74 for the blue 3.94 for the whites. Total about $45 incl shipping.

You can use them in the map lights, doors, rear reading, trunk and licence plates. You will need about 10.

Thanks for all the info. I also purchased a set of LED bulbs but they are more blue than I wanted and it's hard to see anything at night so I think I will try out these superwhites instead.

The vanity mirrors are festoons. I havent gotten those yet.

It was an easy install. About 20 mins to change them all. The hardest part is removing some of the covers. Once out, 30 seconds to pull and put in the new one.

Awesome! I just wanted to change the lights one the bottom of the doors. Definitely get some attention when opening them for sure. Just got 2 super HID whites from frickinbrite.com after some reading up. Will let you know how it goes, hopefully it'll turn out as nice as yours!
