i just took them off and drove around, it sounds sick! i just need someone to drive it for me to see out it sounds from the outside.

here is a sound clip from it...


at high RPMs does anyone's intake whistle or any sort of noise like that? my car has stock intake

legally, your 'resonator' is a muffler and would count as a muffling device.

i havent looked under it to give it a try but does it look like you can unbolt it but still keep the muffler under there to make up for the extra space?

Maybe use some wire clothes hangers

this is a pretty smart idea if you cant afford an exhaust. I think i will give this a shot in my 05 sedan

I'd say that it's about being smart with your money. If you like how the car sounds sans muffler, why spend more for a fancy aftermarket unit?

+1, that does sound awesome. It's a previous gen sedan for sure. Did he gut the muffler, or what? If so, I'd probably take someone's mufflers from whoever is now going to replace them with pipes. lol. Something to expirement with.
