That's just about what I'm looking for. I saw that Terry said the exhaust was a bit louder and more noticeable with the magnaflow mufflers (similar sound as the exhaust with HFC's) so I may see if Tony would be willing to make one with the magnaflows instead of the Sebring mufflers for me.

I wish we could have HFC's over here though.

Dang, took me a 2 hours to read all of it and actually understand it (very new to cars). I must say the Fast Intentions Exhaust system is def something I'm going to look more into. Originally I wanted Injen CAI w/ Stillen Exhaust but after reading this post, I want a Fast Intentions. Does anyone have a video of the engine/exhaust sounds w/ Fast Intentions Exhaust/HFC + Injen's CAI?

Thanks!

Quick questions:

1. How much is installation?
2. What warranty do we void?
3. Can we keep our old stock stuff so we can put it back in for service?
4. Where do we get a reflash if the "CEL" comes on?

I think the HFC are still a little louder than cat back with Magnaflows.

Yeah I figured...lol
Still wouldn't mind having something in between the sebrings and the HFC's cause I like to hear the exhaust a little more when driving with the windows open and the radio off.

There are a ton of videos out there:

https://g35driver.com/forums/showpos...5&postcount=72

https://g35driver.com/forums/showpos...&postcount=140

and a bunch of others on youtube.

To your questions:

1. Depends on your installer, or you can save by doing it yourself if you are handy.

2. Not much, technically exhaust related parts or parts affected by the new exhaust. The exhaust itself has a warranty.

3. Yes, you should always ask for your stock stuff back if you want it.

4. FI has a fix for the CEL light, so there should be no problems, even with HFC.

You'll still get that with the Sebrings, but I think you are right ... the magnaflows would be a better choice for you if you want to hear more. FI should be able to do the magnaflows for you.

Thanks for answering my questions. I am def not handy so I will prolly want FI to install my exhaust and HFC.

Terry,
Since now you have HFC/exhaust/intakes? Is your car much faster?!

If you are in Southern CA, FI will do a good job.

My car does not have HFC or intakes.

However, B L U E S L A T E has all that stuff on his car and has a consistent 14 sec 1/4 mile time, but he still hasn't had it tuned with all the mods.

You should go to a local meet where you can hear his car in person.

Is the exhaust loud at highway cruising speed (what I call droning)?

You don't need to. According to others that have done these mods together, you will make more power with all of them without a tune, but you will get more if you do.

Remember, the car's ECU (computer) is trying to deliver the proper air/fuel ratio. All the "free-breathing" mods will allow the motor to draw in a lot more air, but the ECU can only adjust the fuel flow to a certain point before your car runs leaner than ideal.

With an ECU reflash and tune, more fuel will be delivered to take advantage of all the added air, thus providing more power.

Not at all to me with just the cat back ... and I'm probably one of the more "conservative" guys here.

i just hope something a little simpler comes out pretty soon. a nice obdII flash device would be nice but an add on unit wouldn't hurt either. i'm trying to remember now how many people out there have had work done with the UTEC.
