definitive answers about side skirt and front lip installs.

anyone here knows for sure... if the install of the side sills does not require drilling etc?

And for the nismo front lip.. does the drilling occur underneath or? because I wouldnt want to have to remove the lip and then have to redo the whole bumper. And do the nismo lips come painted? I am assuming not.

THANKS!!!

The Nismo lip does come painted and it will involve drilling. I had to drill 2 holes on each end of the front bumper and and 4 underneath I believe. The lip has double sided tape to secure it. There is also a thin rubber guard above the lip to keep water out from the double sided tape and to make it look more flush with the bumper.

I had no issues with fitment.

This could be the new OEM lip for the sport bumper:

It looks horrible imo.

this may have been asked and answered already, but where did you buy it from and how much.

also when you say each end do you mean the sides...near the wheel well... say if you take off the lip today, there would be holes that would require the bumper to be refinished to look presentable.

Yes there will be holes by the wheel wells that you have to drill. They are not pre-drilled like most cars. I purchased it from japanparts.com. It was around $600 shipped.

It is on the exterior part of the bumper. Yes you will see the holes if the lip was taken off.
