Sevas S22 ?

Hi Guys,

As some of you may know I've been going back and forth on MRRs or Sevas. I must admit my favorite are the Sevas, but I have some concerns.

I want to run the following set-up:

20" 8.5 F and 20" 10.0 R

I've read conflicting reports regarding whether these will fit. I'm not planning on lowering my car (at least not anytime in the future)...will these work without rubbing? Does anyone have a pic on S22's without their car being lowered?

Thanks in advance!

They'll work without rubbing, but the rear will stick out about an inch. Check the 07 sedan wheel picture threads and in the beginning there's a member that put the Sevas S7's (same offsets as your S22's would be) on his car without lowering it... doesnt look very good if you ask me. If you're not planning on lowering the car then i'd suggest going with the 20x8.5 +40 all around.

Lowering the car is a different story as the added negative camber from the drop tucks the wheels in, making them fit right.

Your an IDIOT..... he just asked if they would rub.... if a car is lowered and doesn't rub then how would running stock height make it rub????

you act like the guy in the pic is running huge negative chamber.... he might have a degree... and there is a close up of the rear tires showing clearence....

so why don't you let the guy speak for himself......geeeees......

Some of you guys make me laugh, lol... jk

people making fun of people for not reading the thread, but then again, that person didnt read anything anyways...

As the owner of the car in that link, ill say this:

A...The S22's will NOT rub... They dont rub on my lowered car, why would they rub on an unlowered car?

B.... The rims/tires will NOT stick out an inch, they will fit just fine.. They wont look the best without the car being lowered, but they will prolly sit somewhat flush (yet high)

C... The thread (in that link) has H&R springs in the title, lol.. so its obviously lowered (im actually upset that anybody would think it wasnt lowered, or even look lowered... Unless nobody was paying attention lol

Thanks guys for the feedback.

I'm a little bummed because the Sevas are my favorite, but I don't want them to look awkward. But I really do love the staggered look. <decisions, decisions>

Sixtydashone, did you get your car lowered prior to having your Sevas? If no, do you have shot with your Sevas on and not lowered? Will you PM how much you paid and where you go them?

Thanks!

if you want to see a car with sevas and unlowered, look for marcelkatz posting of his pics and this will give you a good idea of what the set up looks like without a drop
